The Hartman Family
Brady & Lacy, Labrador Retrievers
Hi Peter,
I would like to take several minutes to thank you again for all you have done in helping us keep and train our dogs. It was a little over a year ago when we adopted Brady and Lacey from a local labrador retriever rescue. After several months of adjustment, our new family members became very protective and aggressive, especially Brady, They would not let anyone near us or our home. We were told by one trainer that they were "BAD" dogs and we should give them back or put them down. I don't generally cry in front of others, but this so called trainer definitely brought me to tears. However, we weren't so inclined to do so, and we did fire him. We went to see our vet who told us not to give up home and gave us your business card. I called you and told you what was going on. You sounded so confident and assured us that you could help us and not to worry. We proceeded to make and appointment with you and the rest is history. It has taken a lot of work and patience on our part, along with some intense training sessions with you, but we are creating ttow very adjusted, happy, disciplined dogs. When we all meet, we can see the respect that our dogs have for you. It goes without saying that my husband, son, and I also have the utmost respect for you and your skills. You seem to speak "dog". You understand their behavior as if you are one of them and your suggestions on training have worked every time, as long as we are consistant.
Thank you so very much for teaching us how to teach our dogs to be one big happy family.
Sincerely,
The Hartman Family
